What's the deal with Northwestern? Are they finally playing again this weekend? They're supposedly playing at Purdue and hopefully not calling it off an hour before it starts. Supposedly.

Due to technical difficulties, I will be omitting Michigan from my Big Ten Fall 2021 preview. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Minnesota looked really good for beating Penn State who then lost to Ohio St and lost a set to Indiana who beat Rutgers who took a set from Nebraska who beat Maryland who just beat Michigan who looked impressive against Purdue who got thrashed by Wisconsin and lost to Minnesota.
full circle? lol

I think Minnesota is structured right now along the lines of teams that have historically given the badgers fits - a solid team built around a dominant pin hitter. The badgers got better at dealing with teams like that by the end of last year, but Plummer still killed them in the NC when they weren't playing their best. It will be interesting to see what this version of the gophers brings to the table. It's more in line with the Daly Santana and Wilhite years than the previous one.
Nebraska is more uncertain to me. A lot of new elements that haven't been fully tested or integrated, along with some veteran elements. The defensive tenacity they showed last night could be problematic for any team, but they also showed weakness is serve receive. I'm not sure they can win playing OOS so much. We'll see tomorrow and next weekend.
I'm also still trying to get a bead on OSU, who I've seen a lot this year. They look good, but give up a lot of sets, like just now against illinois.

What are the passing numbers so far in the big ten? Who’s leading the way? I always find it interesting to see the #s since it is so hard to make any assumptions just from watching.

Purdue followed by penn state and then Michigan State are the top 3 right now from what I pulled but even Purdue isn’t outstanding. Elite Passing teams like UK and Oregon are a lot higher than anyone in the B1G
