I love all of this Michigan hype and talk of multiple NFOY candidates but these rookies still need someone to pass the ball.

she could be NFOY, i hope she starts Assuming Johnson is capable of running a Big 10 offense from day 1, I think it probably a bit more likely that she (from Michigan) would be a better candidate for NFOY. Mruzik-MVP at the NORCECA Continental Championships, MVP of U18 World Championships (US Youth National Team Captain), MVP 18 open at AAU (as a junior), Under Armour All-American Match MVP, PrepVolleyball national senior of the year, Volleyball Mag club player of the year... but you argue that it’s more likely Johnson is a better candidate for NFOY? |

The transfer setter is Jenni Liu and the OH is the much heralded Jess Mruzik, who graduated early and is training with the team this spring. More on both here. |

Jones as a senior; Pertofsky and Robinson as Juniors; Mruzik and Johnson with a year under their belts. The only piece missing is a stud libero. |
