Go Canada! (Team chaos wins im sorry) Surprisingly, the DR fans were more supportive of their rival yesterday (PR) than Canada. really? do you know why?

DR 24 Canada 13, Joseph is not starting - looks like a very slow start for Canada

The setting is poor again. King super indecisive...setting trap sets, no man's land again. Ridiculous to pull starters like Maglio, after a trap set. Then Perrins gets the exact same set? Can't Black see that all the hitters are getting poor sets? Finally, pulls King. The hitter's confidence not good with the setting. Van Ryk had 4 errors in a row.
Then that last one with Smith in the front row and King serving?

Turkey vs Poland full match:
I think Boz had a great match, scoring...36 points! Not bad. And wow, that 4th set with the points going into the 30's, it does happen but that's not something you see so often.

So we not have a decent serve receiver in Canada that can help out? I know KVR has a bomb of an arm, as does Grey, but there has to be passing and setting to get the ball to the attackers....

Germany were the underdogs in this competition and now they're heading to the finals. Don't you like having underdogs upsetting the heavies? Unless the heavy favorite is the team you are rooting for.

Interesting. Which part of Canada are you from? I have said bad stuff about Canada before I have to confess, but it was always with a light tongue-in-cheek mentality than a real criticism. And I do have Canadian relatives living up north, Btw, which province is volleyall most popular in? So I’m from Manitoba, and high school and uni was pretty popular here. I’d say good Ontario teams had pretty good support, but I’m kinda clueless other than that, so I’d say it’s most popular there or BC Manitoba...I've been there. Went to Winnipeg around this time of year, and f*ck is it cold! Brandon, Steinbach, Gimli, Selkirk, Portage la Praire, yeah I heard of those places. I remember one class I attend in college, the professor teaching graduated to obtain his BA from U of M before he went elsewhere for his post-graduate studies. Well I guess as an indoor sport though, women volleyball is shielded from the weather and seasons, so that's good. Speaking of the University of Manitoba, how is their volleyball team? The Bisons right?

They graduated their libero and a left side, and then their best middle from last season isn’t playing this season. The men’s team had a rough season the last two years, but historically we’ve been a good team.

All this National Team action makes me miss our USA girls so much. Ugh. Can’t wait for VNL to start. But we miss them for a good reason. We would be sweating buckets if they had to qualify in the last and only chance left! First serve happens May 22 for USA Team. Stoked!

Serve-receive is again a problem, but King has been very tentative since yesterday. I know she can do better!
