Something tells me the eventual Kahahawai commitment is going to be really underwhelming or extremely exciting depending on where she chooses.
However can i just say bravo to the young ladies who don’t spam their social media with their offers like HS Football players do? Something just irks me about that whole trend, like the OPPOSITE of humility even though they usually preface the post with “Very humbled and thankful to announce my 16th offer from blah blah blah”
Least zoomer young women are being raised better.

I’ll assume you’re trying to make a joke, but in general it’s not a great look if any athlete spams their offers on social media

volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/76346/early-recruiting-2023-edition?page=44This girl did it and I think it's smart. It lets other schools know who's interested in you and see if it gets you more offers. Plus it may cause you to rise in the Individual rankings (depending on which schools are interested). The landscape has changed with the rule change. Neither side can truly communicate with each other so they can't develop a relationship. Coaches and players are making rushed decisions and taking drastic measures. I think this may become the norm in volleyball. If other sports do it, why not us?

The amount of hate Texas gets is just pathetic 🤣 any thread where Texas is brought up, majority of the comments are from jealous fans who are upset their program is not and never will be on the same level as Texas. Sorry your teams can't make it past the 2nd round🥴 The dislike is earned. I was in Austin for the 2015 match that Texas won 3-2. It was as unpleasant an experience as I have ever experienced at a sporting event. Texas fans were out of control. Vile nasty comments directed at the Nebraska parents . . . And this was before the match began. When Nebraska won the first set it only got worse, complete with objects being thrown at Nebraska fans every time Texas scored. And it got really bad after Nebraska won the 3rd set after dropping the 2nd. I have never been to a place where fans have successfully made the transformation from fans to hooligans, but Texas fans certainly have. When we were leaving the match three of these hooligans appeared in a full run and knocked at least one elderly Nebraska fan down as they grabbed he and his wife’s is red hats as they were going down the steps outside of Gregory. Three months later when Texas and Nebraska met in Omaha for the national championship Texas fans were not abused. . . they were welcomed to Omaha. We were in the same hotel as many Texas fans and they were treated as fans, not some enemy invaders. I also know people in Louisville and Ames who have been to matches in Austin the past couple of years who mentioned the boorish behavior of the Texas fans. . . Before. . . During . . . and After the matches. Even in places like Washington, Wisconsin and Minnesota, where competition is hot and heavy, their fans are/were civil. . . and those fans understand these events are great sport, great volleyball and should be treated that way-not like a Liverpool soccer match. So, yes, Texas is probably unduly attacked on VT, but I can’t say it’s undeserved. . . Sorry
Perhaps you're confused (again) as to which match you actually attended as it was Texas, not Nebraska, who won the first and third sets . . .
No. 3 Texas Volleyball defeated No. 4 Nebraska in a five-set thriller, 3-2 (25-17, 21-25, 25-15, 23-25, 15-11) at Gregory Gym on Friday evening.

No it was that match. . . My memory may not be spot on, but the abuse by the Texas hooligans has not faded. And I see you don’t deny the actions of your hooligans. . . Shamful ✔️

I wasn't there; can't deny or confirm your accounts of what occurred. You could easily have gone and contacted security, right? From that long story you provided, doesn't sound like you did.

Because the story is made up and complete BS🤣 Texas fans may talk a lot of mess but to physically throw something at opposing fans is not what Texas fans would do.

Not taking sides but this is not the first it's been mentioned on this board. It's pretty well known that Gregory isn't a very welcoming place for visiting team's fans. It's all good though.

Just like the state of Texas shouldn’t be judged by the desperate political moves of their governor and some state reps, i don’t think the entirety of Texas’ fan base should be judged by a few drunk college kids.

Based on recent comments looks like there is not any 2022 recruit news to discuss.

Allie Kopp who plays DS for MN Select and setter in High School just committed to St. Thomas; who is making the jump from D3 to D1. As a state that regularly cranks out high-performing and under-recruited players (Mckenna Melville, Jordan Thompson come to mind), St. Thomas is in the perfect place to get some high quality talent with their move to D1.
