I suppose Mendelson should be talked about here now! I suspect she has decided and is awaiting admissions to announce where she is going. Where has she visited? Nebraska and Texas? Any else? |

I suppose Mendelson should be talked about here now! Might as well catch everybody up who didn't read the 2023 thread. Raoul does a really great job tweeting about girls' hoops recruiting, visits, offers, commitments, transfers, etc. |

Early November (maybe the first Wednesday?) starts the signing period. There is no early and late signing periods these days. You can sign any time from when it starts in November until July 1(?). |

I wonder if there will be more? Will some recruits wait until later to sign? With players still deciding they are going to take their covid year, I would think some would want a better handle on what they are walking into.

Those are the only visits I've heard about, but that's from the information on this board, and I don't know how closely the movements of top volleyball recruits are tracked. It's not like football and men's basketball where there are entire websites dedicated to tracking offers and official visits for recruits. I should also note that Mendelson is close enough to both Utah and BYU (less than a 90-minute drive) that she could easily visit them at any time (this is also true of the some of the lesser programs in Utah like Weber State--the alma mater of both her parents--though I doubt a recruit of her caliber would play in the Big Sky). I think Texas is the favorite, though, based on the timing of her announcing her reclassification just a couple days after her visit to Austin. |
