Triple Crown weekend is here! Let the 2022 recruiting races begin! Will be interesting to see what courts coaches are watching this weekend? At the top levels (future senior aces top 25 caliber players) I would imagine that the recruiting "race" for 2022 has already largely been won and the early blue chippers have already narrowed it down and just waiting to make it public. Most of the elite talent had offers on the table before the new recruiting rules were put into place.

However there is still lots of talent out there and I'm sure several girls have further developed since last season and may help their cause with a great showing this weekend.

I happened to see most of Sting vs. WAVE on Sunday morning (great match that WAVE ended up winning). I didn't know much of McKenna Wucherer going in, but she was very impressive on court with a lot of great players. She looks like a star to me.
Also, Keefe and Rubin looked very good - Sunshine was a fun team to watch.

Watched quite a bit of 16s this past weekend at Triple Crown. Just in awe of the talent of these girls. Several of the lesser known teams had good showings.

Dang, you’d think these watch lists would be pretty comprehensive with how long they are.

Clearly not worth much at all...which is quite unfair to the kids on the list that deserve it. But with so many big names missing, really hard to validate this list.

They may update. The club directors and coaches needed to supply PrepVB with names.

They may update. The club directors and coaches needed to supply PrepVB with names. It's been posted in the 2023 thread but prep VB should do a good look through and supplement the list where regions and clubs are obviously missing. There are players that Prep VB has mentioned multiple times as standing out in tournaments, players on invite only HP USAV teams and holiday camps missing from these lists. I mean there are numerous names missing that are sure fire future senior ace recruits and being recruited by top schools.

You guys stop. PV lists are not the end all, be all. I really do hope there are not players and parents out there looking to be validated by a PV list. Coaches know who is who and have them on their own list.

PV will likely use this list for end of season AAs. It’s similar to the AVCA Watch list - 100% coach nominated. I’m sure it will expand yet.
