Why did Mauer get deleted from the roster?
Did she transfer? Opt out? Get injured?
Pretty big blow, with regards to depth and experience at the setter position.
She must've racked up at least a million starts, filling in for Hughes, Dailey and Big Mac over the last three years.

It has to be a tough call as to whether or not to keep grinding through the spring with an uncertain schedule and try to graduate at the same time. She was a good competitor.

Why do their profile pics look like they were taken at the BMV this year?

Why do their profile pics look like they were taken at the BMV this year? They’re quite frightening, really.

Seems like about as favorable of a schedule as you can get in the Big Ten. Avoid conference favorites Wisconsin. Start out the season with 3 of 4 series against teams in a similar or lower tier (Maryland, Michigan State, Iowa). That could be really important with a new coaching staff and so many freshman and sophomores expected to start. With the smaller tournament field and at-large bids essentially only going to top 25 teams, we will have an idea by the end of the 5th weekend at Illinois if this team has a chance to stay in the bubble hunt or if it is just a development year.

I wouldn't read too much into how the Buckeyes start their schedule, since they weren't cleared to play 6s during the fall.

Based on this tweet and the updated roster page, it looks like Jordan Fry (R-Senior MB) will not be playing this year.
That leaves the roster with 3 MBs in Lauren Witte (Sr), Reilly Macneill (So or R-Fr), and Rylee Rader (Fr). I remember Adria Powell playing a little MB 2 years ago when everyone else was out injured. I think Emily Londot was also sometimes listed as a OPP/MB in recruiting rankings, so she might be able to play there as well if they run into injuries.

Always awesome to celebrate a college degree. As for the middle situation, I think it was always going to be Witte and Rader this season.
