I was watching Wisconsin vs Purdue 2016 and I am honestly so impressed with the development by shondell. EVERY year they have a very good go to player and he’s very good with his opposites. Drew’s, Atkinson, Cuttino, (though she played outside in college. Dear lord is she athletic.)

He seems to be a couple of pieces shy every year to get them over the hump.

And he's poised to develop another great in Grace Cleveland, who's already an All American after her sophomore year. I think the coaching staff did a fantastic job developing Ashley Evans from an OH to a great setter. Newton's development has been fun to watch as well.

Anyone had any thoughts about which teams might get an at large bid from an ultra competitive Big Ten?

Anyone had any thoughts about which teams might get an at large bid from an ultra competitive Big Ten? whoever doesn’t win the conference between PSU, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Minnesota and then Purdue and Michigan. That’s it

Purdue suspends 13 in non-fall sports for residence hall party Thirteen Purdue athletes have been suspended for violating the "Protect Purdue Pledge" by holding a party Saturday in a campus residence hall, the university announced Monday. The 13 athletes, who are not being identified, are among 14 total students suspended for the party. The athletes do not play for teams that compete in the fall, Purdue's athletic department confirmed in a statement. A source said they are not members of the men's or women's basketball teams. Other winter and spring sports at Purdue include men's and women's golf, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis, track and field, softball, baseball and wrestling. The Protect Purdue Pledge, part of the school's attempt to limit the spread of COVID-19, prohibits on-campus parties at which those present are not adhering to social distancing guidelines. The suspended students must vacate their residence hall by Wednesday, though they may appeal the suspensions. Katie Sermersheim, associate vice provost and dean of students, issued the suspensions after university residence staff discovered the party. www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/29997257/purdue-suspends-13-non-fall-sports-residence-hall-party

Great interview with Coach Shondell by VolleyballMag: Interesting that it mentions Cleveland could play in the middle or right side. Hoping the freshmen middles and Johnson develop enough that we can keep Cleveland on the right. She's so valuable as a 6-rotation OPP. But I could also see Chinn develop into a strong OPP. Maybe Ellis, depending on which of the sophomore outsides show more promise as a passer. Anyway, fun interview!
