It was one hell of a spring season! This team should be proud. A lot of people didn't see them as a Top 10 team and they kept proving themselves, making it to the Elite 8 for the first time in 8 years. Love this squad. The future is still so bright. Really hope we get Newton and Otec back in the fall, but if not, they both made their mark on this program. Newton from a 3-rotation OH who barely got set to a 6-rotation beast who led the B1G in points per set this season. And Otec from a DS to Purdue's first ever B1G Defensive Player of the Year. #BoilerUp  |

This Purdue team was so solid in so many ways. I feel like the middle game improved from last year, even with the loss of Mohler. Trammel is such a proficient blocker and will only improve. Grace Cleveland just keeps getting better (if she becomes the primary option next year and Purdue makes a run, she could be a NPOY candidate).

No official announcement, but this video makes me think Newton won't be coming back for another season.
Really grateful for the opportunity to watch her grow so much and to end her career as a Third Team All American. She worked so hard to get to this level.
No word on Otec yet.

What a wonderful team. I'm convinced that with a full, non-Covid year they would have gone even farther. Congrats to all of them.

Will it mess with the incoming classes? Who do you think will redshirt due to them both coming back?
I cannot wait for this upcoming season to start! Got my season tickets already. I took going to games for granted. I will love being back in Holloway.

Iām not sure if it will mess too much with the incoming classes, I guess it could lead to Rastovski redshirting, but I feel like Hornung has a good shot at playing time and Colvin might redshirt regardless since Johnson and Trammel have the middle on lock. |
