Yes. Alade brought such fire to Stanford when she played. I’m not a Stanford fan but I sure did enjoy watching her light it up. What happened to Alade? Did she retire from volleyball? I think so. In the national championship match, the commentators touched on how she was playing for the team and didn’t plan on continuing volleyball past Stanford.

According to Italian Press, Foecke isn't returning to Bisonte this season, despite having signed a new contract. She hasnt given a reason... Went to her IG and it looks like its been clean sweeped of everything. Only two posts on her profile.

Well with the real possibility of the cancellation of next years planned Olympics and the NT season I can see where the girls that don't love overseas play may just decide to start their careers.

Yep, esp Foecke. She wasn't sure she wanted to play pro, but rather start vet school. Can see her going down that route since the Olympics for 2021 are out of question and who knows by 2024.

Not many places "safer" than rural Iowa/Nebraska right now if it's covid related. Plus being a vet was at the top of her career goals. Reminds me of Kelly Hunter. Playing pro for the experience before moving on to bigger things outside of playing.

Kara Bajema to casalmaggiore! Happy for Kara. She had a great impact on the Washington program and I look forward to seeing her flourish overseas. One of my favorite players.

Tami is currently a Health, Education and Learning Research Fellow at The Primary School in Stanford, CA. She graduated with a BS degree in Human Biology in '19.

Hayley Spelman and Taylor Agost land in Germany with SSC Palmberg Schweriner! Spelman just keeps playing and playing. Good for her Schweriner is one of if not the top team in the league. Sometimes you just have to grind it out and eventually your big break comes. Most players on this team end up in Italy or Turkey the next year, if they want that. She may be turning 30 next year....but you never know where you will eventually end up.

Interesting since Taylor Agost is the projected starting OH after just one year transition in Greece. This team is qualified for CL so if that tournament goes forward we'll get to see both of these players in very high level competition. Taylor certainly has the athletic ability to be a top player. It seems sometimes it's the drive and persistence that carries players to the next level. MBH of course grew up out of the German leagues to where she is today.

Too bad about Foecke hanging it up. Not all players enjoy the experience overseas. But on the bright side I bet she will be a one hell of a vet.
