Death cult. GOP Texas lieutenant governor says we need to take risk to get back to work: "There are more important things than living." Also, Texas lieutenant governor, earlier: Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick said school shootings happen because “we have devalued life” via abortion and violent video games and movies. Dan Patrick sounds half right....the truth hurts when its told. I know you blame the gun for pulling its own trigger.

Half right about what?? The point of those two quotes is the hypocrisy. Saying two things that are diametrically opposed.

Might not be real. I shouldn't post stuff from Twitter without checking. But at least one source says it is. Not satire and not a plant. Seems strange that she is wearing a face mask (and no one else in the picture is).

I know a whole bunch of peeps are doing the singing thing during the COVID19 Quarantine. This one is especially good. Of course, while watching this, I was wondering about a few things:
1. Song choice is vital. Would they sound so good with other songs? 2. Were they using autotune (or some other audio processor)? 3. Who was playing the piano? Or was that a recording (without vocals)? 4. Poor mom. Left out. 5. They have a nice living room.
I sent this to my daughter and we both simultaneously said, "Why can't YOU sing like that?" LOL!

Pretty sure I had this last week. Chills, aches, dry cough. Only lasted 3 days, and I was not that sick, but pretty uncomfortable.

I’m kinda old, so my husband was freaking out. Understandable, because he couldn’t find the cheese grater if his life depended on it. If I go first, he will spend the rest of his years looking for things around the house.

Maybe he'll be one of those people who has three cheese graters in every room because whenever he can't find one, he just buys another one.

I’m going to start wearing a mask at home. Not for safety, but to keep me from snacking so much 😐

I’ve been playing guitar for about thirty years now, sometimes competently. A few weeks ago, after a couple of glasses of wine, I picked up my old Gibson Les Paul, plugged it in to a beat up practice amp and sat on my front porch playing “Jessica” (Allman Brothers). Felt good, nobody complained, so the next night, same time, I played “Satisfaction” while my two daughters danced in the driveway. And so I started playing every night, and after about the fifth night - “Sweet Home Alabama” - I heard applause from up and down the street. I’ll be damned if I didn’t get misty eyed.
So I’m running out of songs (I don’t think the neighborhood is ready for me to dig into my Metallica catalogue) but as long as the neighbors dig it, I’m going to keep playing until this weirdness eases up. Up tomorrow: “ Highway to Hell.” Hey, it’s Saturday night, what better time for some rock n’ roll?

Up tomorrow: “ Highway to Hell.” Hey, it’s Saturday night, what better time for some rock n’ roll? I'm envious. I wish I had learned to play guitar or had stayed with piano and for those who create music.....it always draws me to this stunning quote. To create something from nothing is one of the greatest feelings, and I would - I don't know, I wish it upon everybody. It's heaven. - Prince
