No, it's not official but it looks almost sure. Monza should've found agreement for next season with Mihajlovic, Gennari, Lazovic and Zakchaiou (the middle from Cuneo) No way they had that much money from their new sponsor and these were the players they got...no offense to them but still. |

How about that, Novara was losing to Monza all regular season and now pulling out the 'W's' when it counts. Nice.
Haven't watched the match yet; was this more about Monza playing bad or Novara playing well?
unfortunately I barely watched it either, had a lot of life stuff going on this afternoon. The end of the third and fourth sets didn’t seem close - I think the last time I looked in the fourth it was like 21-14. I think Hancock was subbed out at some point in the third as well, perhaps neither team played well and monza just played worse. What happened to orthmann, is she injured? She was so strong for them last year and now she doesn’t start? I think I got her and van hecke mixed up and missed that she hasn’t been playing consistently. I blame the video quality and similar hairstyles. Novara is fortunate their left sides had a great season, smarzek is really struggling. |

The slots for European Cups are set:
Champions League--> Imoco, Novara and Monza
CEV Cup --> Busto
Challenge Cup--> Scandicci
If CEV allows 4 teams in CL like this season then Busto will play CL.

She’s really playing at such a high level. In one sense, I could understand wanting to be done when you’re playing well. I’d hate to quit because I was sucking lol You know i'd rather quit with good record and with money. 😅 She has a plan for sure. Maybe she is not ready to say this. But what else she'll do after playing? Maybe she'll just take rest and just retire with NT but still play with club? Or transfer to beach volleyball. Omg if she transfers to beach, I’ll support her wholeheartedly!! Imagine her splitblocking ☺️ Pretty sure I read an article where she said her end goal was Tokyo Olympics and after that, she’s moving on. |

The slots for European Cups are set: Champions League--> Imoco, Novara and Monza CEV Cup --> Busto Challenge Cup--> Scandicci If CEV allows 4 teams in CL like this season then Busto will play CL. The only reason they allowed certain teams to start in the first round this season was because those teams (Scandicci, Dinamo Moscow, LKS Lodz) were all in the tournament the previous season that was cut short due to covid. They won't mess with the quotas again. They won't grant more than 3 slots to Turkey, Italy and Russia. IMO, they should only give Russia 2 since they don't even send their best players to the tournament and have been vocal about how they really don't care about CL. Also, Turkey does get an unfair 6th slot due to the Balkan Cup, which they basically always win. With Italy's league so strong, if they gave them a 4th slot, the competition would certainly be more tough but that would probably result in more Italian teams dominating the tournament. That won't go over well with the other federations. |

So no one knows what's her plan after tokyo. |

Italy is VERY exciting with the youth that they have coming. Like the two that are playing for Firenze, Sylvia and I cant think of the other one... But nobody will see the court unless they move to oh, all three of them are OPPs and no ons playing in front of egonu...
