What teams are out for the 2021 season thus far? Looks like Kings College (MACVC) will be sitting out despite the rest of the conference playing as announced.

I'll have to start a tracking sheet, but I believe most of the Skyline members are out, as is Sage.

Sage is a numbers issue not a COVID issue. Don’t be fooled. Coach inherited a program of 15 and has not brought in a single recruit in 3 years. Will be second year in a row program has 6-7 athletes on roster

Being familiar with the Albany area, and many coaches throughout, there is a decent wealth of boys volleyball talent around the Capital District and NYS area. Back to back years of poor recruiting simply shows how terrible of a decision their hire was. Plus, a school that small (Around 1,500 students) in the Capital of New York with 80% female student body (formerly an all women's school) is already bound to have men's sports recruitment issues. Add on top of that $45,000 tuition fees for a school no one has ever heard of, and that is a formula for failure, especially in a state where tuition for families making $125,000 and less is essentially free. I wouldn't be surprised if that school was closed within the next 10 years. Unfortunately that applies to many small private schools in New York.

Which conference will be the next to announce a schedule? 9 matches showed up on the Rutgers-Newark website today. 6 of them vs. Juniata and Kean.
Easy Prediction for this conference in that case. 1. Juniata 2. Rutgers 3. Kean 4. Immaculata U Hot Take: 3 and 4 may be interchangeable. I have no idea what Immaculata looks like, but do know that Kean is in a typical 'down year.' No longer returning the senior class that planned to come back. Been a slippery slope for years now. Curious as to what the biggest contributing factor for that pattern has been. I couldn't even begin to guess.

Who are some fifth-year seniors coming back after last year’s season was cancelled to keep an eye on?

Additionally, this is one pod of the conference. SVU, RMC, EMU, Marymount, Elizabethtown all competing as well

Also, Capp and Milnazik both participated in the NVL Pro league with the Tyrants team. Apparently they had papers saying they took no money, but I'm not sure how much water that could really hold with compliance. Pro is Pro, even if it's the NVL. My understanding through the grapevine is that they will be on the coaching staff. Which is disappointing because with those guys, that team can compete. Without them.... who knows. Apparently Kean has 22 kids on the roster. Would hate to be wasting my eligibility on the bottom half of that roster, especially using one year on a pandemic season. Also, interesting shift in recruiting from mostly PA kids and second-rate Jersey scrubs to Florida kids according to their instagram page. Wonder what happened to the Yorktown pipeline...

No eligibility used this year for these athletes.
