With the lockdown, some things one would not have thought twice about suddenly becomes somewhat tricky affairs.
Like a haircut. I don't remember when my last visit to the barber shop was. Now if you can cut your hair yourself or have a family member who knows some barber skills and is willing to cut your hair, great. But not everyone can.
So when was your last haircut and how are you managing your hair? Does it resemble someone from that "70's show"?

My state has begun reopening, so I got a haircut about a week-and-a-half ago, which was much needed after two months without one. I did have to wear a mask while getting the haircut. I also grew a quarantine beard, but I think I look better clean-shaven, so I shaved it after about six weeks.

So when was your last haircut and how are you managing your hair? I'm guessing sometime in the 1990s. My hair was already starting to thin out when I was in college. Also, I came to like having a shaved (or at least buzzed) head, and I've done that for myself for decades.

I tried a self-buzz, knowing that it would most likely be a fiasco, about 1.5 weeks ago. It was closer to a shave than a buzz, but I have enjoyed not having to deal with my hair -- and it's growing back.
Plus, that's why God created the hat.

Do I want to stay married, or get a pixie cut?

March 17th for me. I normally go once a month, so I'm already more than a month beyond the normal schedule. My hair hasn't been this long since the early '80's and I'm kind of liking the return of the natural waviness that's not there when I keep it shorter.

Lessons from the Pandemic: I've learned that drinking wine and cutting your own hair isn't a good mix.

Do I want to stay married, or get a pixie cut? JLC is a good-looking woman. Well, she had help from two parents with excellent "beauty" genes -- Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh.

Here's Tony Curtis in Spartacus. (He's the doof on the left. On the right is Kirk Douglas.) And Some Like it Hot. (Again, he's the doof on the left. On the right is Jack Lemmon.)

Janet Leigh on her way to the Bates Motel in Psycho, before the fateful shower scene. Actually, she was fleeing the city with embezzled money. Just random bad luck that she decided to stay for the night at Bates Motel.
