I'm against the artificial alteration of a person's looks regardless of my awareness of such alterations. So you go for the caveman look? Or are not you somehow not including haircuts and shaving as "artificial"?

As I said, there's a spectrum of artificial alterations. I look like this: LOL. Where are tattoos on this spectrum of yours? I assume going to a tanning salon is an artificial alteration. Is natural tanning? If someone normally spends a lot of time in the sun and uses sunscreen, is that artificial alteration?

Sunscreen is for protection, like wearing a hazmat suit before entering hazardous chemical spill area.

Better Call Saul is nearing the end of its fifth season and is as strong as ever. Tonight's episode was one of its all-time best.

The Haunting of Hill House (2018) A surprisingly good (nay excellent) TV series. Nothing scared me except for a couple of cheap jump cuts, but the quality of this show is really high. Great writing. Reasonably good acting. One episode used exclusively long tracking shots. I didn't even realize what was going on until a quarter of the way through and I couldn't remember any cuts whatsoever. Then, I realized, hey, it's mostly one long seemless scene! Incredible! This show also stars Henry Thomas, the lead child actor from E.T. The Extraterrestrial. I really liked him in this show. If I could "pick" a father, it would be the character Henry Thomas played in this show, strange as that sounds.

A relative of a good friend was a producer for the whole show and also wrote an episode. Watched it all with this friend in about 2 days after it came out. A few jump scares, but most of the fear came from great suspense and terror (not horror) aspects. One of the better shows I've ever watched. The one-shot episode was really good, cinematography, sound, writing all were on point for the whole thing though. This is also one of the only shows to really impress me with casting. You could tell what child character was each adult character even if they never were to use names. They got kids that looked a lot like their adult counterparts, more so than most shows can do.

Watched two underpromoted series recently. Unorthodox (4 episodes) on Netflix about a young woman escaping her Hassidic upbringing in Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. The other is Zero, Zero, Zero on Amazon Prime (8 episodes). First episode can get confusing getting all the story lines together but is a drama containing the Italian mafia, Mexican cartel and American middlemen. I thought it was a good series but not for the squeamish.

ESPN aired the first two episodes of The Last Dance about Michael Jordan and the Bulls last night. As an enormous fan of those teams growing up, I had very high expectations going in, and it was even better than I thought it would be. I have not watched the NBA virtually at all for the last four years, but this reminded me of why it used to be my favorite sport. Jordan is still my favorite athlete ever, and the 90s Bulls are still my favorite team ever.

I mean, I already knew that about him. It doesn't really change how I view him as an athlete. I never thought he was a saint.

Well, I don't watch TV. In fact, I don't watch ANY TV. I watch TV programs on DVD/Blu-Ray.
