Not sure if it is official, but Gianneli to Perugia as well. Perugias Instagram account announced Anderson’s transfer Sorry, I meant Gianneli to Perugia is unofficial.

Do we have a pro transfer market thread?
I'm surprised no one is asking for Gage and Rado. both are Pro ready or even Gazman.

I am not sure there is a link but those guys will get picked up by a first division team in one of the second tier leagues. They are a dozen or so I think will and a lot more after that that could play a lower level that is still pro if they want to.

I want them to go that route than them joining a club like Civitanova. Hopefully he wont be another case of Vernon-Evans..

Giannelli to Perugia is nearly done.
550,000 euros to Trentino
Giannelli gets a salary bump from net 350k to net 450k.
So they add one of my favorite players in Anderson, and now my #2 setter...

Lucarelli is not the player he used to be before that Achilles tear True...but Lube just has a more all-around roster, particularly in the middle. I think this is a really strong group that should connect well especially with a ton of time. Perugia will have some great serving, but Lube's got the passing+DeCecco to deal with it imo. I think it'll be very competitive though.

I agree with so much that is being said here. I think next year's title chase has the potential to be more explosive. I think Lube is incredibly strong in the middle and has one of the three best setters at establishing the middle in the offense. Lucarelli for Leal might be a bit of a drop (especially since Leal has picked up his serve receive), but Lucarelli is still a very strong player. Modena has another one of the best three setters to establish the middle, and the guy has won freaking everything.
I think Modena might be the strongest at the pins, but I honestly think (and this will be an unpopular opinion) N'Gapeth can be a liability. Flashy, athletic, can make some unprecedented plays, but can be a cancer to team chemistry and still has only won one major title as a player. He walked out on his dad's team in Russia, tried to cause a mutiny at Modena (thought he was probably right with that one), and abandoned his team in Kazan this year.
In my opinion Perugia is steadiest at the pins. I think with Anderson and Leon, you don't have as many hills and valleys. They will not always have stellar games, but they don't break down. They are mentally stronger on the court than the likes of Zaytsev, N'Gapeth or even Juantorena. I always wonder how a Zaytsev/Juantorena partnership will work ever since Zaytsev was vocal about not wanting Juantorena on the Italian National team back in like 2015. I know they have played for the Azurri a lot since then, but those are for shorter spans of time. It probably isn't anything at all, but I like to think it might have some impact.
If I am picking my 5 best setters in the word, I would think that 3 of them will be on these three teams.
If I am picking my top 5 egos in volleyball, I would also think that 3 of them will be on these teams too.
It should be exciting.

But this should indeed be a very exciting race. I am very interested to see how Bruno setting Ngapeth and Nimir turns out.

Jaescke to Milano - that's a good move for him.
Perugia looks loaded.
Rossard went to Piacenza to replace Clevenot who will be invisible in Turkey.
Sbertoli to Trentino.
Milano will sign U20 Italian national team setter, Porro. He's maybe 6', but he lead U20's to Euro championships (I think that is right)
Also Champions World is dropping some cash into Lega Volley, and I think they will have their own channel or be part of the Volleyworld offerings. Every match.
Plusliga may also be in that deal.
