Props to Gong and company for making that competitive at least! Jiangsu loses 1-3 in the final. Competitive? Why do they bother with the league when its always the same team winning? That being said, as I said, if Jiangsu is so fragile that they can't tolerate any injuries without the whole team falling apart, they aren't worthy of being champions. I mean, it’s not like they lost only scoring single digits. They lost 16-25, 25-23, 21-25, 21-25. That’s awfully close for losing your starting setter and then starting someone who hasn’t even played a match at setter in God knows how long. Yes, the odds were stacked against them, but they didn’t just roll over

But that match is hardly representative of Jiangsu's true ability. Tianjin's undeserved championship really raise questions about this league.

I hope not (not because I dislike her), she's already getting heat from a lot of fans because of the accident with Diao Linyu

Cai Bing, head coach of Jiangsu, commented today saying “Zhu Ting has international vision. When Diao came back on court in game 2, Zhu never once hit down the line.” A not so veiled dig at LYY, who was still tipping a crippling Diao.
Gong Xiangyu said “they just wanna play and win clean.”

Probably the only "controversial" selection (other than Hu Mingyuan)

Gong Xiangyu said “they just wanna play and win clean.” Oooh I wanna see this RPDR Untucked episode It would've been juicy! During one of their timeouts Jiangsu's middle Jiang Qianwen said that there was rubbish on the other side, not sure if she was referring to a particular player (probably Li) or the Tianjin team in general. Zhang told her teammates to pay attention because there was a camera in front of them. Had she pulled an Yvie and confronted her it would've been a mess.

While at the Gold Lounge, Li Yingying screams "I'm feeling very attacked!"
Is Zheng Yixin still around?

While at the Gold Lounge, Li Yingying screams "I'm feeling very attacked!" Is Zheng Yixin still around?Yes, her club Fujian is weak so they didn't make it far this season. NT wise she's always around, but doesn't stay too long. Which is unfortunate because she's quick in attack, can run the slide well, play back row defense, receive, and serve consistently. When it comes to going up against the likes of Italy with Egonu and Serbia with Boskovic Lang Ping is going to want a middle that can slow the ball down and get touches, something she has a hard time doing due to her height.
