Imagine if this was our 2024 team LOL: Plummer and Robinson at OH, Wilhite at OPP, Carlini at S, Ogbogu and Butler at MB (humor me), and a more-experienced JWO at L. We run USA fast and just destroy everyone. Poulter Butler isn't unrealistic. If it wasnt a covid year, I would bet she and Dana were on the VNL roster |

I we go based on the poll above and the team gets 17 players + 7 Staff + 1 Covid Enforcer = 25, who else do you bring to the VNL? Let's assume that the top 14 vote earners make the cut.

I would honestly take Hancock, Adams and Lowe 🤷🏻♂️
Wilhite wouldn't go even if we took 18. Tori would probably get that spot IMO.
Whilhite may have had a decent pro season but she has been in the gym a while now and will probably get the Kingdon treatment.

To get 18 players for VNL you need to remove at least 1 for each position.
I will remove kingdon,tapp, cuttino, hentz
The remaining 2 players. Don't know. Even cuttino was doing well. If we will base their performance this season JT should be the last and tori

How much do ya'll want to bet that this tournament (VNL) will not return to it's previous world touring format? I would be willing to wager that more athletes are going to prefer it if it were all held in one spot instead of all over the world with tons of travel.
Does anyone know if the FIVB owns the rights to Volleyball TV? IF so, they should just charge a bit more for subscriptions to help mitigate the loss in revenue from ticket sales. I would pay more than 20$ for an entire year of content.

Wasn't the USA supposed to host the mens VNL finals for the next few seasons before COVID? I'm pretty sure that they'll try VNL until at least 2024.

That, and she has olympic experience. It's a narrow vote margin though. I could be coerced into changing my mind. |

If lot woll subscribe then they will have revenues. |

I didn't realize that Hentz was added to the roster. That is a pretty good sign. 2. While their pro season results probably do play a small role in their NT fate, Thompson is a completely different player in the USA system. She seems to struggle with the high ball offense. Also, the setters on her pro team are mediocre at best. I don't think you can write her off like that. Now, if she is indeed still injured, that is another circumstance. 3. We don't know if it will be 17 or 18 players since all teams have to have a covid rules enforcer. Will that cut into the staff or the player count? We don't know yet. |

Having it in one place during the entire tournament would certainly save all federations money. Also, the major players might be more inclined to participate if they don't have to literally traverse the planet playing all summer. The tournament's length would actually be slightly shortened. Just by a week or so, removing the gap between the prelims and the finals. I'm here for it. While they are at it they should break the main group into two and include more than 16 teams. I have argued this before, many times. I would rather play a 10-12 team round robin than a 16 team one. Just saying. |
