We got Akiu in 17, JR and BVS in 19. I think we're DUE. Don't @ me about our scholarship situation. Literally no one cares.. If we have one, we have one... Technically, we got Kendra Ham in 21.

IMO= I can't wait to see all the returnees and see how far they advanced in their training and new faces on court.

Anyways, The Sanbow roster isn’t complete correct? If so that’s really disappointing unless more indoor girls are adding later or they’d better be committed to off season indoor training

Can anyone confirm whether or not the sandbow roster is complete? I legitimately know nothing about the program besides that Igiede and Brooke were dominant together last season

Can anyone confirm whether or not the sandbow roster is complete? I legitimately know nothing about the program besides that Igiede and Brooke were dominant together last season I don't think it is quite complete yet, but they do have the tentative roster listed on the Hawaii athletics website. Currently, the indoor players listed on the roster are Van Sickle, Igiede, Westerberg, and Wagoner. I am also pretty confident that Leoniak will join the beach team since she won the 2018 U16 Polish Beach Championships (and I think beach was one of the draws as to why Leoniak chose to come to Hawaii). Also, I think it may have been koa or someone who mentioned that De Goede and/or Johnson might play for the beach as well? I believe it was mentioned before De Goede got injured though, so I'm not sure if she is still going to play beach. For Johnson, she does have some experience playing on the beach, so I can see her joining the beach team as well. Realistically, I think that only Van Sickle, Igiede, Leoniak, and maybe Wagoner have the best shot at cracking the top 5 flights for the beach team. I'm not sure if I'd say that Igiede/Van Sickle were extremely dominant during the beach season, however, by the time the season ended, they were definitely playing their best volleyball at the #1 flight. Igiede made huge improvements throughout the season to get to that point, and they were able to compete with some of the best pairs in the nation at the end of the season. Wagoner played a few matches at the #4/#5 flight last season, but she didn't remain among the top 5 flights by the end of the season. It sounds like it may have been more of a chemistry issue than Wagoner not performing, so I think she has a shot at cracking the top 5 flights as well (especially if her improvements in the indoor game carry over).

With the expansion of the NCAA tournament to 16 teams and likely autobids for winning the conference, the Sandbows should have a realistic chance to make the tournament this year.

And every year moving forward. TBH, that was a huge move by the NCAA to grow the women's beach game. Cal Poly will always challenge. Not sure what the make up this year's team is, but with their Olympic-level coach, they'll always be In the running.

Already solid for a freshman backcourt player, but the girl can hit too for someone 5'6.
