to quote wolfgang "I don't know what this means" LOL please explain! I thoroughly enjoy your insight and you already know that m8. I just simply don’t think there is anything about Jacobs’ game that Hawaii doesn’t already have. The only pin that should be considered if the scholarship was available was someone with a high contact point that can put the ball away consistently out of system. Hawaii doesn’t need ACF either I could def see ourselff a better version of Oregon next year but with a better setter. Good passing, reliance on D, balanced attack. With the addition of Jacobs, RAM might want to run a faster tempo offense to beat the block.. Again this is all 99% speculative bs that won't likely matter but one can dream I guess... ACF and Jacobs are extremely athletic, slightly more than Wagoner..

That AND not everything the P5 conferences shat out is a steal for Hawaii They’re not that bad As much as I tend to disagree with the resident Tulsi(the Karen of Karens) it’s simply the truth. BVS had Hawaii ties and was CHRONICALLY underutilized at Oregon and Hawaii had already recruited Jolie so that wasn’t a hard sell. Unless UH is going to go after Fields or even Williams who played with Lang I believe, I’m not super interested in any more Riley/Johnson type pins. Wonder if those Texas girls enjoyed their time when they came over a couple of years ago… It's nice to have highflyers, but like Mia, can she pass and play D?

Most would agree she’s probably the best player in the NCAA who has gotten the least amount of playing time but that’s just the nature of the beast that is Texas recruiting

Mia is strong but is still short. She also did not play at a high level in club. I believe she played in either the Patriot or American division at nationals. Anyway, she definitely lacks sophistication in her game e.g. the finer skills like passing, floor defense, making off plays I think players like a Fields or Williams could potentially reach a high level of those skills fast due to physicality, strength and all the other things I mentioned above because they have played at or with players at that higher level. It really does make a difference

I can dig it lol. EDIT: Hoping for Lang to convince her to join if we have the scholarship.

I can dig it lol. Yea especially if we truly are losing the Nebraska 23 recruit then by all means let’s go after Williams. Fields will likely go to a P5 so that’s hard to imagine her at UH but she would be a solid 6rotation Outside by the time next Fall came around. Williams has played 6 rotations at a high level in club and practiced against one of the top teams in the nation for the past few years. If there’s a secret schollie that we didn’t know was available or one opens up, those two are my top choices. Even more so than a high level middle to bring Igiede to the pin.

A better version of Oregon?? BVS was the only good passer on the roster this year.

You know it’s the off season when @bwf2 drops in to sh*t on someone’s passing and then ghost until they have a chance to do it again.

I would bet that RAM is going to work with Wags to improve her service receive so she it can get to the point that she is no longer the target of opponents serving.

Wagoner might have not been the best but Lang was very capable of flinging it into a hittable ball! Something the Oregon setters have no say in!

Idk like several other posters, I feel like she's a DS playing outside hitter. I would love to be proven wrong but now since those passing numbers from her got leaked, I don't know what to expect of her anymore. But like I mentioned before she has two more years to prove herself so the ship hasn't "sailed" exactly yet.
