Yeah...sounds like she has given up playing competitive volleyball. It will probably be difficult for her to get back into playing shape if she hasn’t been working out hard.
Camp starts in less than 2 months. Her body probably cannot take anymore pounding.
Good Luck to her but wish she will still be around UH as a student manager(like James Anastasiaades did with the men’s team. James got himself a national championship ring )or something so we can honor her on senior night this coming season.

Yeah, the post doesn't say anything, but the comments definitely make it seem like she will be leaving Hawaii. At first I thought that it could just be her going back home for awhile, but after seeing what a few of the others are saying, I think that she might not be coming back to play in the Fall. If anything, it's possible that she may come back to Hawaii next Spring to finish out her degree since she mainly just needs to complete a course that is offered during the Spring semester. Anyways, I wish her nothing but the best, and I hope that she finds success in whatever she wishes to pursue!  |

If Jolie is planning on not returning next season, I would understand. She may had started feeling her college career was getting long. Still would have loved to had seen her play an injury-free full season with the Wahine. Very solid all around player. The type of player I feel a team needs if they want to go far in the tournament.
Side note: As of now, anyone already has a prediction of the Big West's standings from top to bottom? I know the covid void BW season kicked the Wahine in the butt. Joilie may not return and Hellvig headed back home. That one really stung.

I do wonder how come she doesn’t just come out and say that she will move on with her life and will not be coming back? She knows the public is wondering.
As long as she hasn’t say “no” there is always a chance for a change of heart but if she is not working out and not preparing for the upcoming season, then coming back would not be a good thing for her body.
If funds were raised for Jolie to come back and she decided not to, I hope we can use it to land a grad transfer to help ease the inexperienced roster. Strange that at this late stage that someone like Pepperdine’s Shannon Scully has not officially landed someplace. Same with Indiana’s Tommi Stockham. I hope we will have a shot at these two.

Scully to USC is done, it just hasn't been announced. Regarding any funds raised for JR, the Covid scholarship exemption for returning seniors does not apply if that senior transfers. There would have to be one of the 12 scholarships available to offer it to a grad transfer. |

Definitely wish we could have seen Jolie complete an entire season and be healthy from start to finish. Absolute fantastic player and she deserves the best!
That being said, that starting OH1 and OPP battle is going to fuel some great competition in the gym.
Could even see 3+ pins get 3 rotation time at both spots if someone turns into a solid “attacking DS” lol 🙄
jokes aside gonna be a competitive group at the pins

Until Robyn, or Jolie, comes out an actually mentions that she is not returning and moving on, everything that everyone else is saying is only speculation.
