No possibility of Helvig returning? I think the coaches have moved on from Hellvig. She already turned pro. Even if she didn’t receive any money to keep her amateur status alive, the coaches are going to be risking playing an ineligible player if they take her back. Hanna probably left not only because of COVID but also she probably was homesick. Time to look forward to seeing Martyna Leoniak and Annika DeGoede be big time contributors and move on from Hellvig. |

Which players on the 2020 roster will not be on the 2021 roster? Sorry for asking, but since the Covid virus cancelled the 2020 BWC Women's Volleyball season, I have not really been following Wahine volleyball that much.

I know of two that are more likely, one maybe, and one I completely don’t know. Are the two more likely, Skylar Williams and Brooke Van Sickle? Is the one maybe, Kyra Hanawahine? So that leaves only Jolie Rasmussen as the one no one knows the answer to? |

Wahine players not returning and leaving?? Covid just keeps robbing Wahine indoor volleyball joy. Was hoping all the Wahine - including our four seniors - would return for one more run together.  x100 |

Kyra is a walk on so whether she comes back or not really doesn’t affect the team. Skyler is a starter so she coming back is big. I have a feeling that Brooke will take a partial from beach and just play beach. That was her intention when she transferred from Oregon in the first place . Needed to be convinced to play indoor. Jolie is a question mark. Don’t have a clue on what she is up too. I hope Jolie and BVS come back so we can make one last run before we rebuild with the young guns of Leoniak, Johnson, DeGoede, Lang, Kiraly, etc...
OOH....noticed that Paige Hammons in the transfer portal. If UH has an open scholarship, we need to go after her. She could be someone that could carry the team. Pepperdine’s Shannon Scully could help but Hammons is the one IMHO. If Jolie comes back and Hammons comes in we could be unstoppable at the pins.

Really a smart hitter with tons of shots but not gonna necessarily overpower the defense. Plays solid defense too |

Hawaii might be more likely to land her if Scott Wong can put in a good word. Erika Pritchard might be possible too if Angel Gaskin is able to persuade her. |

Hopefully Robyn seizes the opportunity to talk to the players that are already in the portal in NEB if that is allowed. Given how many transfers UH has had under Ah Mow - Akiu, Gaskin, Rasmussen, Van Sickle, Hanawahine, Choy, Byrd, etc., I'd almost expect Hawaii to get 1-2 transfers going into next year depending on which seniors decide to return. |
