Ummm…you haven’t even seen the team play… No jolie, breaking in a new setter, no libero lineup, no hellvig, no outsides that have D1 experience... I m just being realistic... Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy toooooooooo many wannnyyyyyyyy questionnnnnnnn that will make me believe that this roster will make it past the 2nd round. "no outsides that have D1 experience" when we have Brooke Van Sickle returning next season... Also, you could say that Riley Wagoner got some D1 experience last season when she started a few games at outside. I sort of understand what you mean by way too many questions, but we did bring in 9 new players onto the team during the 2019 season with many questions marks, so I think that this team will be fine. On a different note, I wonder who Koa was alluding to as the transfer that the indoor team would land. Originally, I thought it would be one of the three liberos from Hawaii, but Naya Dong is off to UCSD and Aria McComber is off to BYU (I thought we would land McComber who would maybe play for the beach team as well). Perhaps there may be a chance that Grace Wee will come to play home? She would definitely add more depth to the libero position into our lineup of Hanawahine, Gong, and Ikenaga. I have no insight on that, but I'm just trying to figure out who we landed based on what Koa said (unless it didn't pan out). |

Not sure if anyone saw but there was an article about the Shoji brothers in the paper about a week ago talking about them wanting to coach after playing (would be cool to have one of them be a volunteer under Robyn for a year). Article mentioned Dave is now cancer free! Phbbbt! They can go volunteer for Stanford since they played there.  Great news about Dave though! I mean if an Olympian wants to volunteer why would you say no to that. That's just added incentives to learn from an athlete that played overseas. I mean Erik Shoji could teach Gong, Hanawahine & Ikenaga something they maybe don't know. |

If my memory serves me right. Did UH play with out Jolie and still win??? Helvig and Amber did very well being their first year... IMO: we all just have to wait till the season begins and go from there. Why with all these Debbie Downer comments? Go Wahines warriors.

And it's realistically probably going to be around that same range for the rest of her career... J/S She even had Jolie, Hellvig to cover her for inability to put the ball away. Reading some of these negative comments makes me wish they cancel the season. I mean what's the use, I mean they aren't going to go far in the NCAA tournament according to some of these know-it-alls!
