You're valuing defense too much. Especially from an opposite. They are there to terminate the ball out of system. If your opposite can't do that, then you need a new one also about this. I agree you need a terminal opp but if you have DLC or Edmond on your team then maybe you go for a better defender like Castro Bc you have that OOS terminator already.  |

I highly doubt Castro is completely ineffective OOS even with her age. Sure she’s not gonna be hammering like Lowe and Ebony but. I’m not saying you completely give up the ability to kill the ball for defense when looking for an Opposite just saying if you can find one that can maybe make a dig to give herself or someone else another chance to score that would be good. If you have a big left side scorer already |

I might have missed this, but is there a rule about equal playing time? If points are awarded on your play, you need to be on the court as equally as possible, I would think. If they want points, they need to be the best option to be on the court to earn points. |

you can’t even agree with that ? I highly doubt Castro is completely ineffective OOS even with her age. Sure she’s not gonna be hammering like Lowe and Ebony but. Also Edmond is a fine passer. She passed a 2.13 her senior year. |

Doubt it. There's a reason she wasn't picked before Nwanebu, Lowe, Atkinson, Willow. Atkinson literally can NOT dig a ball or pick up a tip. I think the captains were valuing fire power a little too much. I think she needs to be give credit for her defense during the scrimmage. |

Love watching you guys argue about a future that hasn't been set... What is quite cool about it is this league sets up like fantasy football, but in a way it's more "real" because the players themselves know they are playing for points! Be patient. We're all going to see if Castro still has it... My guess is her presence here tells you a few things. She is willing to play whatever role she is given, knowing this endeavor will hopefully spur more interest in continued growth of the league. Also, there has to be some kind of guaranteed $$$ in it for her to get her to be away from home... Let's keep having fun, lively, debate on it...
I'm taking Purple for week one, and Hunter for my MVP choice. How's that for predicting the future?
