Y’all DLC might struggle with serve receive at the highest levels but this is far from that. I’m sure she’s a great passer for this level of competition

Is there anyone else out there that is a little disturbed by the New World Order feel to this league? Did anyone watch the opening ceremonies? Listen to the motivational speaker who coordinated the foot stomping/clapping? The constant talk about race and inequality. I even heard Kevin Barnett and Salima dropping pronoun advice. Not to mention the funding coming from George Soros's son. As much as I love the sport of volleyball and a lot of these athletes I don't see myself getting behind this venture. It wreaks from the top!!!

Regarding the 4-3-2-1-1-2-3-4 order, I think (as I mentioned in another post) that the top ranked captain should get to pick whether they want picks 1,8 2,7 3,6 or 4,5, then second highest captain gets to pick which pair of picks they want, etc. Otherwise why be a top captain? I mean picks 4-5 MIGHT be most ideal but maybe the top captain really would want the top pick and prefer 1,8. And like others, I hope captains week by week is not cumulative. The nice thing about this event is the multiple things to tune into. It'd be a shame to essentially take away one of the more interesting aspects.

It wreaks from the top!!! I didn’t watch the opening ceremonies, but I don’t see anything wrong with advocacy. Racial issues and inequality are prevalent in the US and in the volleyball community. I also don’t see anything wrong with being inclusive by advocating for the use of someone’s preferred pronouns. |

If DLC is at 72% positive, you're not serving tough enough. I wonder if the risk/reward of serving points is playing into the players serve choices at all? |

These are the issues that are important in American culture, and professional sports are a part of American culture. Good for them for using their platform in a positive way. |
