Alondra is a great young lady and local talent! Prep Dig had her ranked as the top recruit in the class in the state of Oregon. I think she will be a DS at OSU, she is an undersized OH for D1. She plays on a club team with Wisconsin commit Maile Chan and (likely) Stanford commit Lizzy Andrew and they just took home the U17 American banner from GJNC. I would think the team has another D1 commit in the roster with MB Lillian Lansing who was named to the All Tournament team. Excited to see some Oregon talent added to this program! |

I see her more as a DS for the team, but hlpes that she has skills as an OH, but utility players can benefit the the team during times of injuries. Based on footage, she has good skills. Previous coach added a lot of Oregon based players, although maybe too many. I was thinking the new coach wasn't going to pick up a lot of Oregon players based on her trend of bringing in transfers from different states and every other 2024 addition is out of state, but happy to see her add an Oregon player too. |

Just noticed that Emma Villaluz is no longer listed on the 2023 roster.. Just to close this loop, Emma had to medically retire due to an injured wrist. She is on the team staff this season. We chat with her after games. |

Ava Pitchford has had a concussion for the past month+, which is why she hasn't played since 10/01/2023.

It would be nice to pull out a win for what could be the last match against the Ducks (although something tells me it won't be). We were all set to go to the final down in Eugene last year and we all started to get sick and stayed home instead. |
