If anyone is interested in the SUU/LIU match at 4 p.m. MT, it looks like the link for that is here. The UNLV/SUU match that was earlier today can be watched here. I wasn't able to find the link to the UNLV/LIU match from yesterday anywhere on the website, but it might be on there somewhere. Yeah, SUU tweeted out this morning that neither of today's matches were going to have live streams, but then their schedule contained a link that took me straight to it. Kind of strange. |

I watched a little of that match yesterday so I had the link in my browser history. It looks like the video was only up yesterday because when I just tried the link, it no longer works. |

BYU breaking out their black uniforms vs unlv 🔥 Those uniforms looked awesome. As for the match, BYU won easily, 25-14, 25-16, 25-15. Unfortunately, Hayden didn't play for UNLV. |

BYU outhit UNLV .375 to .074. Both middle blockers had big matches, with eight kills each. Gneiting hit .636 with four digs, three blocks and an ace, while Eschenberg hit .583 and had four blocks. Koeber hit .400 on a line of 7-1-15, and had eight digs, four blocks and two aces. Bower had 30 assists, seven digs and three kills on four attacks (.750). Allen had eight digs and five assists, and McComber had six digs. Tasic let UNLV with 11 kills.

 Michigan St lost to Wright St, which looks bad but Notre Dame lost to Wright St a few years back and turned out okay. Wright St is a little better than you'd think, as the top dog in the Horizon League most years. Dixie has some good players, but they were missing 10 of their 17 players week one. Of the seven players that they had available, four were Freshmen. So if they get "healthy" or whatever then they might be able to put a scare into Michigan St, but not BYU. If instead they lose another player or two, then they might have to "forfeit" (or whatever the most applicable term is). At the very least you'd like to see them get J Nelson and Treanor back, and then maybe Tonga and a second DS. |

I think grimmer deserves some opportunities to hit. I am fully on the kenzie train as she is a stellar six rotation player,but kate's arm is too deadly to leave on the bench. Is she practicing from the OH position. Can she come in for one of the two if they start struggling.
