She’s one of the best libs i’ve seen this season for sure Glad to see BYU add a libero to the 2023 class. This is in the OP, but I thought I'd repost it here. Hard to say based on passing, but speaking from a defensive/serving standpoint I think Aria McComber would have it locked. |

So I watched a couple of Miller's highlight videos on her Hudl profile, and I was impressed. Her passing seemed very solid, and she was passing a lot of the court. She had great range on her digs, and she was able to return some hard-hit balls for transition plays. Her serve seems to have some nasty late movement on it. And she also seems to be quite good at setting with either bumps or her hands (there were even some nice hand back sets in there). I couldn't figure out how to embed the videos from Hudl, but they were up on YouTube also, so I have embedded them below. |

So it looks like BYU won't have anyone from the 2020 recruiting class on the team for the 2022 season:

I mean BYU should get Hakes back but she left in September of 2021 so she will miss the 2022 season unless she comes home early. I don't mean this to be criticism of Olmstead. Everything around Covid is weird.

This is Luke Benson's sister, right? Yes, according to this article. It says she's an opposite, but her club lists her as an outside hitter. So a pin of some kind. It said she's was a junior in the fall, so that means she's part of the 2023 class. I'm not exactly sure how tall she is (another article just said "tall"). Here are some highlights: |

I couldn't find Benson's height listed anywhere, but one of her club teammates is committed to Baylor, and she was listed at 6'2". Benson appears to be at least as tall if not a bit taller. So I'll go ahead and list her at 6'2" for now. I also watched those two highlight videos from a club tournament. She seems to have some deceptive velocity on her shots, and she was also digging, passing and blocking well from what I could tell. Looks like a solid pickup.

I think Mia Lee is taller than 5' 11". She might be, but that's what she's listed at. I'll update it if I find a reliable source stating otherwise. Edit: I found her current club team, and she's listed at 6'0" there, so I'll update. Brielle Miller is also listed at 5'6" rather than 5'5". Also, I just saw that Brielle Kemavor's height on her Instagram is now listed at 6'5", so I went ahead and updated her height as well. |
