Pretty obvious how much Purdue needed Cleveland. You can’t have Boilermaker volleyball without an opposite getting a zillion swings per match.

They did this last night as well, but does Purdue normally sub Cleveland out for 2 rotations in the back? Or do you think this is because she’s been sick and they’re giving her a breather? They did it last year as well. They try to almost always have two littles on the floor but they want her as a back row option when Newton isn’t back there. Newton and Cleveland don’t play back row at the same time. I feel like they could have some nasty back row combo attacks though if they were both there. Who needs defense when you could have that firepower? |
