Pepp has plenty of pep in their game. They are taking it to BYU. They look top 25 to me.

Pepp has plenty of pep in their game. They are taking it to BYU. They look top 25 to me. I had them ~15 the past couple weeks -- a spot or two above BYU the past couple weeks. They have 2 very good OH's and a setter that can do very nice things in system. They are not 'undersized' like some other great WCC teams have been in the past. I'm interested to see San Francisco at San Diego tomorrow. USD looked vulnerable but barely has their full team back now, along with an improved San Francisco team. |

I would think no. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. I've seen matches like this get turned around! even if they pull off the reverse sweep no way that this BYU team beats USD San Diego barely escaped Gonzaga this weekend! They are not looking invincible. But with so many players out prior to this week - I give them sympathy for it being a 'first' match of sorts. |
