Don't have the better resume?? I beg to differ RPI means nothing this season. But if you want to talk about rankings, Texas is 4-0 against top ten teams (albeit the same one), Minnesota is 3-2. I mean beating a team youre clearly better than 4 times is not that impressive after the 2nd time.

Plus the rice loss is way worse than any minny loss yeah I said it before that Texas would get punished for the Rice loss. I'm not mad about the seeding even though I think there is an argument against it.

I mean beating a team youre clearly better than 4 times is not that impressive after the 2nd time. It definitely is because Baylor is still ranked in the top 10. We all know Texas is better but it's the fact they were able to beat a top 10 team 4 straight matches. If Baylor was unranked then it would be different but a top 10 win is impressive and although RPI doesn't matter this year, If it were a regular season then it would definitely be factored in. Honestly it doesn't matter, Texas got the draw they got and there is no changing it. This team is ready for whoever and we will see who the best team is🤫

If seeds hold, Utah/Washington back to back is going to be tough for Minnesota. Maybe they will lose to Utah, so it won't matter.

Are we really arguing about who is a 3 and a 4 seed? I mean, what is the difference? I bet they put them in those places because Minnesota had already played Nebraska.

And that would explain why they shoved all the PAC teams together? I was talking about the Texas v Gopher discussion. I don't see the point of Texas fans arguing for a 3 seed other than that they would avoid Nebraska. But if gophers dropped to 4 they would have had both Nebraska and PSU in their bracket, both of whom they've both played twice already. I don't know why they couldn't have at least just flipped WSU and Utah between 14 and 15 seed - or moved them to 13-14. PSU seeding screwed that up I guess, but they could have just as easily been 15 as 13. I frankly don't agree with PSU being seeded at all, though I predicted it.

The Penn State interns working for the selection committee did their job. (Russ Rose smiles at the Volleytalk outrage will enjoying his Rosenberry ice cream.) No, but seriously, this isn't good; the bye doesn't help. I would have preferred that PSU play in the 1st round.

Sorry Nebraska fans but I don't see them beating Texas this year. I have a problem because Texas and Wisconsin should not be playing eachother in the final 4. That is a championship caliber match. Of course both teams have to get through some tough teams either way but Minnesota literally has a cakewalk to the Final 4.

Don't have the better resume?? I beg to differ Being seeded 4 instead of 3 isn't that big of a deal, Texas will get a chance to prove their worth soon enough. As far as a so called B1G bias goes, there is much complaining that they have 2 of the top 4 seeds and 4 of the top 8. In the last 5 tournaments the B1G has sent 2 teams to the final 4, and in the last 2 has sent 4 to the elite 8. Maybe I am old-fashioned but in my opinion the title of the best conference should be taken, not given. Teams like Texas will have every opportunity to earn the title of best team on the court soon enough.

I don't know what that was about, but the gophers have shown some vulnerability this year. I expect any run they make to be interesting.
