We need an effective slide-middle, not an Outside! :/ We have 5 middle/opp on the roster and only 2 legit pins. (Not including Cooney) we need an extra pin. Whittington or Bingham can probably run a slide. And we have all summer to work on Collins /Swanson. |

Hinton's blocking was impressive but she does not add much offensively. I will agree that we have a DESPERATE need for a middle who can hit an effective slide. Our offense was limited with no slide attack. So much so, even one of the announcers on one the matches last year mentioned it. Collins can run it but not at a Big 10 level. With only two healthy pins (Raina/Bruna maybe Gregus in the clutch) some depth would be great. With 5 middles, somebody needs to step up! |

While we talk about transfers and recruits, is there any word on our injured players? Are Gregus and Whitttington healthy enough to play? Are Bruna’s lingering injuries resolving? With Eske transferring, is there finally going to be a Maddie Chi sighting? How is Holzman’s rehab coming along? I don’t mean to interrupt the wild speculations, but I would love to hear about our current roster.
