Carlini must be devastated. I dreamt of this day when Poulter would be able to dethrown Carlini as the best setter in the US. I am so proud of where she has gotten. She has proven to the world that she would be Team USA setter. |

As an Illinois fan, I am naturally particularly happy to see two deserving Illini on the roster. I would imagine the coaches had some difficult decisions in choosing one position player over another to put together the "Terrific Twelve"! And, as much as I love JP, I have immense joy and respect for "Bartschy" (MBH) being rewarded for all her dedication and years of hard work to reach this goal! Congratulations, Illinois. Two of the twelve on the roster and 1 on the coaching staff give you great representation on Team USA. Poulter's rapid rise to probable starting setter is particularly noteworthy. Keep those Olympians coming (very likely, given your Team USA experienced coaches).

Wisconsin posted their conference schedule briefly before pulling it, but not before Kingsley snagged a screen cap! So we now know two dates to circle on the calendar: Sunday, October 3: Badgers at HUFF HALLSaturday, October 9: Illini at WisconsinNow we just gotta see what kind of capacity the Illini ticket office is going to be good with- can't wait! |
