We play DR and Canada first, but Brazil's potentially got some serious firepower with Ana Christina, Rosamaria, Fe Garay, and Tandara when mixed with Gabi's ball control. (I believe Natalia is still injured). Brazil could potentially get their act together, which would be pretty scary.
I wonder if we'll get both team's "A" lineup considering we're in opposite pools.

Just watchin this video. Pipe attack from the best players. Tandaras arm swing is actually scary to me - Signed someone who plays men’s college ball. She would fit right in. Also I could watch Boskovic all day long. A queen Kinda crazy that Tandara can consistently hit with that kinda heat while only touching 305 (Jump height isn't everything but still). Having her back for Brazil could be huge. |

Only a fool would take Brazil lightly, given their team's accomplished record in the WGP and now VNL. |

What is the middle situation for Brazil? This may end up being their weakness in the end... they've always had a good 1/2 punch.
I can't think of anyone to the level of the previous starting middles for the last 3 olympics..

The way zhu attack the ball is just amazing. Her technique is unique. Not sure why we can't use that technique? Well, she’s a legit 6’6 with go-go-gadget arms. Can’t really teach that. I wonder what her wingspan is. I would guess over 6’9. |

Matches start on the 25th, so Tuesday. The US’s first game is on the 25th at 9 AM PT. Games before that are all between like 1 AM till noon.
