Im not sure how much to look into either of them.
Hancock's serve is a great training tool. And Plummer realistically has to be an OH cause they don't have another in the gym right now (I think)
I also think having trained there basically all of her college/pro career, Plummer’s range of shots as an OH are a bit more diverse and refined than they would be at OPP. While that may be true, I hope her role is not as static considering she has the potential to play at a high level on either pin. Regardless, her viability as an OH is something I’m definitely curious about. |

Italy has announced their 17 players roster: S: Bosio, Battistoni, Morello. OPP: Nwakalor, Mingardi. OH: D'Odorico, Melli, Guerra, Piva, Omoruy. MB: Mazzaro, Bonifacio, Lubian, Squarcini, Furlan. L: Fersino, De Bortoli. Is there still the rule where the host country gets to be in the Final 4 regardless? (Used to be final 6) |

I know she at least played OPP with the youth NT. And to be fair, she has only had 1 year of a pro career. If she most effective on the left and USA doesn't suffocate her with fast/quick, I'm all for it. But we will also need to make sure our OPP can be effective OOS because we will likely be OOS more with her passing than our other OHs. |

Plummer on the left side comes at the hands of losing Larson, Hill, MBH or Robinson. Unless Robinson decides to do what's best.
