Lmao yall looking like clowns. Acting like any of our opposites are great OOS or great at defense. Keep coming for her though it’s amusing not even tier 3! maybe some here think drews can dive like de gennaro 🤣 I’m saying. They are acting like Lowe is just some awful player that has no business in the NT gym when in reality she has one of the biggest arms there.

These Lowe stans are getting out of hand 😩. Even the insecurity is showing.

Lowe isn’t going to Tokyo, so, in that sense, no, she doesn’t belong in the gym for any longer than necessary. She does not bring significant experience, despite what some posters here think. She rode a high in 2015 after graduating to a Rio roster spot to be the double-sub OPP. She had a great match off the bench in the semis, but was never consistent enough as a server, defender, or blocker (especially) to unseat Murphy. Even since returning to the team after her brief break, the staff has focused on providing match opportunities to Drews and Thompson, not Lowe.
Again, with such little time until Paris, these roster decisions should both give the team the best chance at winning gold and help shepherd in the next generation. Lowe helps accomplish neither of those goals.

^I don't necessarily disagree with any of this but...
Her not unseating Murphy had more to do with Murphy than anything else. Murphy's leash was... disturbingly long. I think Lowe should have unseat Murphy. Fawcett should have unseat Murphy. Hell, Kayla Banwarth should have unseat Murphy.

Who was frankly bad this year and might be injured with barely any experience against elite NT competition? Plummer ? She’s the future IMO but how could she possibly be ready with no A team experience and she isn’t even playing OPP in the USA gym

Hopefully she can be successful against good teams. She showed a lot of promise in the VNL but I just don’t understand how she struggled so much playing her national position with Vitra

You really can't think of any possible reasons why her performance might've fallen short of expectations this season?

I'm confused either way.

What are international volleyball fans talking about team USA? c.tieba.baidu.com/p/73425861191. Looks like the top choice for OPP is still Drews/Lowe, Thompson is unlikely to go to Olympics 2. Hancock is jump serving again, Karch maybe paid attention to Italian League 3. Courtney is still the lib, so she will compete with Wang for a Tokyo spot. Replies: Thompson didn't sign with any team yet (reply: someone will take her) Thompson played well with Vitra at the beginning, and then.... (replies: 1. yes, beginning of the season was quite good. 2. you must have a misunderstanding of the word "good") Why are they playing vb in a basketball court Won't they choke (referring to playing ball with masks on) Karch forcing Hancock to change her topspin serve to jump float is f****** r*******. It's so difficult to find a good jump-server and you throw your own away. Courtney already messed up a key match, Wang should be the first choice for lib compared to her.
(I am way too bored. Please let May 25 come already.)

Team didn’t have to depend on Boskovic as much and they even beat Vakif and won a cup I think. Then COVID/injury/Elif stopped playing like Turkey’s future national team setter and voila. Plus Eczacibasi has a history of not treating players with injuries adequately. I want to see how JT looks with the national team with some time for her shoulder, better setting, and a different system.

Plus if she’s still injured why would she go anyway ?

Can somebody clarify whether JT is still injured or not? Or is that not something that is entirely known rn
