Yep. It's a tough matchup. The Texas backcourt, Loberg, Fields, which team comes on top serving - there are a lot of variables here. It think what shades it to me is that Wisconsin just hasn't had enough time playing different high caliber teams this year. But on the other hand its not like these badgers don't know each other, and the new-comers -- Barnes, Civita and Robinson -- all seem really capable, so I don't know.
The badgers have to make a lot fewer errors than they did against Florida. That's for sure. If they want to win they have to make Texas beat them, rather than beat themselves. Can they find the right mixture of aggression and smarts?

Please spare us your opinion! Request denied. Go Badgers! Go Badgers is not an opinion its a cheer a hope a wish for a good outcome later today: my cheer is for each team to be excellent so they each get the others best effort, and for the officials to be consistent and allow the players to demonstrate there excellence! ps: spare us your poorly thought out narrowly focused self serving i hide behind my keyboard opinions!

They (texas) lost to Rice not very long ago: smart setting and poor passing by texas and a stout hitting by Rice top OH from both front and back row doome texas: texas has been vulnerable when stressed: their performance loses confidence as the say you have a punchers chance: good luck Badgers

Let's go Texas!! Will be great that Barnes can't win a championship, no matter which team she carpetbags off to. Let.it.go. His team lost a couple of rounds ago so he has nothing else to do

Texas is my second-favorite team and I've personally admired the representation of women of color on the Longhorns for as far as I can remember (yes, it's about the best athletes and not their skin color, blah blah blah, I don't care). I don't know if my heart can take another 5-setter, but hoping the Badgers can find a way to slow down Eggleston, Fields, and the middles (I've loved Brionne since her connection with Hilley during the GYNT days). I have always really enjoyed watching Texas and have typically rooted for them to do well. Their players are just incredible year after year and are so fun to watch, Eggleston is one of my favorites and has been since she was a freshman. They are definitely in my top 5 of favorite teams.

I know Dana used to be a dancer. Now I'm convinced she missed her calling. Volleyball is not for her. She's actually pretty good. You can see she's had a bit of training. EDIT: I should be clear, I have no idea if this thing they are doing is real. And I was born in Texas! the song and dance are from Hannah Montana The Movie.

Wisconsin has definitely had Texas' number over the last several head-to-head matches, although we haven't played each other all that much (maybe like 4 times since 2013?). But, none of the current players other than Molly Haggerty were part of any of those matches. I'd like to see Texas return the favor from when #12 Wisconsin knocked out #1 Texas in the 2013 national semi-finals in Seattle.
EDIT: Forgot it was just 2018 when last matches were played.
Wisconsin has won 7 in a row going back to 2011 vs Texas. Probably has no bearing on tonight's outcome but since it was brought up, the record should be correct

I'm interested to see how Hilley performs. Ooof. She did not bring her best against FL. She didn't block. Defending was okay. Set placement was not great. That is not our setter. She most certainly knows that was not her best match and I'm hoping she rights the ship.

Lol! As far as I know it’s from Hannah Montana. Idk if it was a thing before that tho Texas has always had great offensive players, but I think their defense has really stepped up this year. I guess you could say they’ve “got the best of both worlds” I wouldn't say the best, but it's most certainly improved. If I'm WI, I serve Logan and Iosia and break them down. Serve short and pull Logan out of the offense or make her work a lot harder to pull back for an approach. When Jhenna is up front, disrupt Aisia's slide and block her line. Make her challenge Rettke. Try and target field in reception even though she's mostly hidden.

Balls hit off the block, she stood and watched it fall out nearly every time.

Love these two. The future of USA volleyball! There is also a video of Madison Lilley on the NCAA page. Just imagine if college had an all star game and getting to watch Lilley setting Logan and Dana with Jonni Parker and Yossi.
