Watching Texas made me really pray for Minnesota developing a solid middle game. Adds a whole other element to a team's offense. I know that's obvious, but still.

Texas simply had more firepower than Wisconsin. They won two games by 2 points. This was not a blowout. Two very good teams.

There was something off about WI...not Loberg...she was as expected. But Hilley, Hart and Rettke have not looked themselves all tourney. Sad for them but Texas pulled out the first set and never looked back.

Congrats TEXAS!! You won and deserved it... Nothing away from you Longhorns... But Badgers looked flat and didn't play too well, they didn't seem hungry or have any urgency?! I don't get it, so if Wisconsin wins the first set, instead giving up a 6-0 run late, does that change the dynamic? one will never know. TX is the real deal, I think they take UK 3-1. Just sad last match for Dana (and she was a no show), and for Molly, Sydney and Lauren you were amazing all tournament, sorry you came up short. Robinson we love you baby! One last point and then I'm hitting the bottle/// Coach Shef' why did you go away from short serving, I tracked it, you scored more in that sense. Servers kept going at Iosia and Libero?!?? All symptoms of a team that has played in about 5 matches in 6 weeks

Congrats Texas!
The B10 is the best conference for volleyball similar to the SEC for football, that isn’t really debatable. Of course there are teams that can hang with them outside of the conference. Why is this even a debate?
Both teams played hard. Congrats to both of them.

As much as it hurts me, I think Texas point number 23 in the third set shows why Elliott should maybe stop taking so much bs here and why this Texas team is different. Kentucky is really good, too.

lol, it's over, lets go right to sportscenter. Shows just how much ESPN values volleyball. Not to mention LACROSSE of all things. Sportscaster spent maybe 20 seconds recapping the match.

Down goes number one, the big10 in the pac12! Who’d a thunk! The two teams left standing are those from conferences who played a Fall season. Just sayin' . . . i thought the same thing and was hoping whoever won the championship was a team who started the season in September! Those ladies have been at it for a long time.

Can people stop saying the Big 10 is the best conference now. They aren't at this point. No Big 10 team in the Finals, and only one was in the Final 4. I think they consistently have the best teams but got the benefit of reputation this season and weren’t the best conference overall I do hope we move away from any one conference being claimed as the best that clearly across the country programs all over are getting stronger. Reputation just plays a huge role in the sport. Honestly, I think you almost have to consider this year as a one off. Played at a different time, some teams had less chance to practice (hell, some pac12 teams only had 3 practices before their 1st game). Games got delayed or cancelled, no real out of conference play for most teams, some teams didn't even play. So for this year, maybe the B1G didn't make the final. But even as a Pac12 guy, the B1G is still overall the best conference in the nation.
And don't get me wrong, I'm kinda looking forward to a non-B1G/Pac12 in the final game, it shows the diversity and growth of the game.

This is a funny inversion of the 2013 match. Back then, Texas spent way too much energy forcing balls to exploit a weak OH block (Morales), that they took themselves out of their own game (I think Webster didn't get a set in system for the first 40 points or so). Tonight, Wisconsin focused too much on trying to exploit Gabriel's block... there were balls forced to the left that should have gone to Robinson/middles, and it gave Texas the lead, momentum and confidence. I agree.. but you had a true winner that made everyone better, Freshman Lauren Carlini... she expected them to win! She ran the shoew like a seasoned veteran and tore apart other teams blocking schemes.

We are being a little too harsh with Wisconsin playing the way they did two sets going deuce is hardly getting rocked but they looked out of sorts it can happen especially in the Final Four and it has to many a team before. At that stage this late in the tourney the stakes are higher and the game feels different. That wasn’t the Wisconsin team I have seen easily sweep teams or make them look pedestrian but so it goes. It was fun watching Rettke for four years let’s hope she gets back to full strength for the National Team cause I always thought she was a lock to get there but after these last few matches I am unsure.
It’s been a strange year of covid and an entertaining tourney which is all I could ask for.
