I believe Madden is a teenager. So we should treat him as such and take everything with a grain of salt. I believe he just likes to troll all teams of higher levels of talent. So, you're saying he is completely insecure? I'll buy that.

So, anyway, back to the match...Wisconsin’s serving game needs to be on point Thursday. This isn’t the old Texas serve receive. I agree the horns are better at ball handling. The badgers need to serve better than against Florida no matter who they're playing, though. It wasn't best performance from them. When they're on point, they can cause any team problems. Of course, as Plummer showed, if you have an all world at OOS attacks, it doesn't necessarily matter.

Do you have stats to show that Texas serves better than FL? yes lol. Hold pls. Still waiting on those stats. I'm really curious what you're going to come up with.

I believe Madden is a teenager. So we should treat him as such and take everything with a grain of salt. I believe he just likes to troll all teams of higher levels of talent. Just my opinion: I don't think he 'likes to troll'. I think he has his opinions. May his age take something into account or lack of experience especially, quite possibly. But there are MUCH older people here on this board who intentionally troll all the time, and in a much worse way than madden does. I definitely think he can be extreme and his fandom is interesting to say the least, but I don't like attacking his age. I was putting out Bracketology as a *teenager* on here, so I dislike the part that says 'treat him as such.', but maybe I'm taking that too literally. There's other very quality VT posters here who are of age to madden. Idk, I just don't like the age talk as a way to talk down. Criticize him if you want, but I would say the same thing to criticizing older posters as well if we treat them as if they are outdated, not with the times or how the game is currently played, etc.

Still waiting on those stats. I'm really curious what you're going to come up with. I’m pulling passing stats from each of their matches and seeing how many teams each team held under their season averages. I just got come with my club teams practice and have to work at 4 tomorrow morning so I’m going to finish it up tomorrow after work and my first class.

With all due respect you seem to criticize more that one program. lol He constantly takes passive-aggressive jabs at Texas, Stanford, and Nebraska (and possibly others). Then plays the victim when he gets called out. It's a never-ending cycle. I agree. He/She has a lot to prove. To say that Kentucky is a blow out is not true. The first two sets were very close but I would never consider this a blow out ever. I quit watching after the first two sets because it was boring. The real match was Florida against Wisconsin! That was true Volleyball.

Kinda hard to root for either of these teams right now. I was really shocked by some of the Wisconsin players and their attitude last night. It wasn’t just typical swagger and sass. There were multiple instances where cards should have been issued IMO. Weird Bc I had never seen that from them. This is an odd comment? Really odd! Watched too and again today! Didnt see any crazy celebrations or gestures !! Is this a troll? This is not serious VT volleyball performance related post! Obviously beneath you to stoop to this level of comment!

If Texas can pass the Badger serves (big if), they win. I think playing the fall season is a huge advantage.

At the beginning I said the only team I thought was a lock for the Final Four was Wisconsin and here we are but Wisconsin looked shaky last round and really squeaked out a win. They need more from Loberg and even Robinson. Rettke and Haggerty can only do so much. Watching the play of Wisconsin from their match Saturday against BYU to Monday against Florida was night and day. Looked like two different teams I know Hilley can play better as well. Wisconsin may be feeling the pressure they are the 1 seed and the team to beat let’s see if they can deliver.
I have no dog in this fight but picking I am going with Texas. I just think Texas has the weapons to win this their pins are better Logan and Skylar are about as good as it gets on the outside the middles are even, the right is a wash. Setter is edge Wisconsin if Hilley is on.

Not just that, but their conferences are arguably the 4 toughest conferences. Having two teams in your conference does not make it "tough".

Not so odd when you consider the source. Poster is notorious for finding fault with teams he just doesn't like. You can set your clock by it.

How is Texas's mental toughness? Can they shake off mistakes and keep one error from becoming 2 or 3? Did any of that happen in their loss to Rice (honestly asking, I did not see that match)?

Not trying to make this a Husker thread but its funny/interesting you say this. The many older Husker fans at matches STILL don't understand why Nebraska doesn't sweep EVERY opponent but Penn State. Ummmm cause we're not in the Big 12 anymore. LOL

Being critical doesn’t mean I don’t like the programs. I’ve been very critical of Washington the past few days but I actually really like what cook is doing there and like the program. Same with Minnesota and Wisconsin. I really love this badger senior core. I was critical of Rettke and her reactions but I still think she’s a wonderful player and person. (At least that’s what I’ve heard about her via mutual friends and what I’ve seen from her in interviews) you don’t have to keep picking fights. I’m hyperbolic a lot I know. I’m sorry and I’ll work on cutting that down.

In the first match against Baylor, Texas lost the first two sets and then won the next three. Lost the first set against Penn State and then swept the next three. Won the go ahead third set 30-28. Do you know if you own team is mentally tough?
