Nebraska was in the Championship Match? Confusion probably caused by "FR". "Front Row" or "Freshman"? I don’t remember Cook discussing those blocking schemes on a Facebook broadcasted preseason scrimmage in 2018. Just last year. |

It was my mistake. I didn't stop and think that the capital R in FR meant there were two words. I wouldn't have known what you meant, but I should have known it wasn't Freshman.
Edit: And no, I don't think 2018 was a terrible season.

Huskerjen - Do we still have room for Harper Murray (or some other 2023 recruit)? Yes. Do we have room for one more in 2023 or do you think we are done (I assume we have room, given your comment in another thread about still hoping to go “5 of 12” from the U18 US team)? |

When the 2023 recruits get to campus in the fall of 2023 there will be at least 13 players for 12 scholarships (so one of them will not be on scholarship). There does not appear to be room to add another 2023 recruit for a “5/12” fantasy. . .

However, whether she can play or not will depend on her rehab, and that will not be known until after the season starts. At least that is how I interpreted her in the Nick & Lo podcast. |

My understanding is if Lauren is with the team all her rehab is full and covered. I think that's why Coach Cook says she is "with the team". My interpretation is that Lauren has been strong, consistent and clear. She said a couple of times, I don't know why people are confused. I am rehabbing and I don't know. I have heard no quote from her indicating a commitment to play or if that would be her first choice after rehabbing. She could rehab and go play pro, go to work, or continue with some school. I think she is an unknown. I think Coach is hoping she will play for the Huskers. |
