The ones with the dome are super cool. You can see the dome from the FH. Okay, gotta take one shot here. Don't do a similar State Capitol design of the actual State Capitol if, as I would consider probable, Nebraska wins a title in the next 3 seasons! Just, no.

Let's step back for one second, and think about Carlini's 2021 year in volleyball.

Congrats, Wisconsin!
This wasn't the cleanest match and as a Husker fan I'm obviously not happy with my team's offensive output, but these two teams really put on a show for everyone to see what that B1G grit is all about.
Looking forward to more battles to come....and hoping some of these departures will help the recent lopsided record lol

Even if they do, however, it will probably be a relief and about as fun to watch in the process as having a root canal and going to the DMV on the same day.

Badgers fans... what do you think was the one difference from past years, or key area of improvement, to allow this team to win a national title? For me, it was Jade Demps. Having that option out of the back row when things broke down was simply invaluable.

Off the top of my head I can remember @minnesota and home against Penn State. She put up some fantastic numbers and really helped bolster the Badger offense.

Having that option out of the back row when things broke down was simply invaluable. the chemistry of this team was just absolutely undeniable towards the end of the season. you could tell that everybody on this team really truly loved each other and they were gonna do whatever it took to win. Demps was definitely huge, not only because of her offense but her defense was clutch in the big moments. Smrek seemed to show up the most in the biggest moments. and Julia Orzol’s fire and just steady ball control. to me it just seemed like a ton of little things that turned into the big things

I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed that type of performance. And Smrek, my goodness! Tall but athletic and strong!

Also, I don't think this has gone unnoticed, but the Badgers scored a ton of points when Demps was serving in the fifth set, and her ace got them to 14.

Really good day otherwise. I rode the Badger Bus to Milwaukee and back to see my friend, and he drove me to have some good beer and food, so I didn't let that ruin my day.
