I'm rewatching now that YoutubeTV credentials give me access on ESPN. And I had baseline seats at the match, so seeing the other view is interesting. It's currently 13-7 in the second. Gut check time at a bleak moment. I know these next moments of even rewatching are going to be very emotional.

I was at that match and there was just no energy in that crowd, the whole weekend. Maybe that was the difference this year. Sure sounded loud on tv. |

Maybe I missed this, but Sheffield was on ESPN Wisconsin a few minutes ago and said that Civita tore her plantar fascia and that's why she was out for that second stretch. She's superhuman.
Edit: I see that he did say that in an earlier presser and I did just miss it, but still...

Yeah I posted a similar article somewhere here too (I forgot where!). But that's my non volleyball friends said after the match. This isn't football folks. Heart rate at 100 once the match starts, and stays that way. Goes up to 120 on set point! |
