Awesome!!! How many years eligibility will she have? There's our much needed depth at MB A quick glance at the KU web site, and I think she has three remaining. She played in the 2020-spring21 season and then the 2021 season. And only the 2021 counts against her.

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Kansas Jayhawks middle blocker Caroline Crawford is in the transfer portal.
The sophomore from Lansing, Kansas led the Jayhawks in blocks and was third on the Jayhawks roster this season in kills.
Crawford is also a two-time AVCA All-Midwest Region honorable mention and was named Second Team All-Big 12 this season.
As a freshman, she was a three-time Big 12 Rookie of the Week, while also being First Team All-Big 12 and to the All-Big 12 rookie team.
Crawford was one of the sole drivers behind KU’s Sweet Sixteen run in the 2021 season.
She has two years of eligibility left.

Crawford is about next year, if it's true.
This is about this year. Dana Rettke has been a truly special presence in Madison, in volleyball generally, and not just for her play. I cannot emphasize how true that is.

Yeah I posted a similar article somewhere here too (I forgot where!). But that's my non volleyball friends said after the match. This isn't football folks. Heart rate at 100 once the match starts, and stays that way. Goes up to 120 on set point! My Garmin watch suggests you must be incredibly fit and/or calm because my numbers were significantly higher throughout the match. I didn't touch 120 from 5:00 until Sunday morning.

It’s Caroline Crawford from Kansas, she retweeted the Bingo tweet. IG profile also updated with the @badgersvb handle.

Resting heart rate is 53, so there is that. It was 150 for most of set 5 though!

Yesterday we heard from Coach Sheffield that Dana and her father got into something of an argument as to whether she had in fact touched the ball that resulted in the match point reversal. Last night, Dana found a piece of video from somewhere that shows pretty conclusively that she in fact did NOT touch the ball, and posted it on her TikTok. It is that 'driven to succeed' nature and attention to detail that makes her the player she is. https://www.tiktok.com/@dana_rettke/video/7043970220599528751

What ever happened to idea of not overturning calls unless there is indisputable evidence? It would be interesting to see if simply challenging a call plants a suggestion in the mind of the R2. You have to have these cameras and the high def ones used in the international game playing side by side.

In hindsight, I'm glad it was overturned so we got a more exciting finish and no controversy. But let's be honest.

As I said above, this isn't from one of the 'official' cameras. Apparently, Bianca and her BadgerVB video people found it while they were putting together one of their great highlight videos. But more generally, if you think about 5000 people or whatever in the arena with their cellphones out recording 'match point', someone was bound to have "the perfect angle". It just turned out to not be the officials.
