2, 3, and 5 will most likely answer themselves as soon as we know the answer to one of them. I sure hope it’s molly in the middle with Skylar back on the right with Melanie playing 6 rotations. If one of the freshmen comes in really solid though I would love to see a 6-2. Thought we should’ve done it more this year. Pitt finally showing a top team can run one. Most teams can’t because frankly they don’t have the depth. Texas most certainly does. Edit: meant 2, 4, and 5 I agree. I think it could be very valuable for Texas to have two 6 rotation OHs, not only is the bic always available but with less subs coming it allows for the team to get into a better groove and play off of their own momentum. I think it would make a big difference for Texas to have 4 core players on the court at all times I would really like to see Logan run the D ball like we did last fall because I think it was not only fast but very effective

This girl can do absolutely everything I could barely make it through McCombs while just being a student and she does that, improved her passing vastly from where it was she got to campus, is president of a few orgs, and was inducted into the Friar Society. K.

Which is why when non-Texas fans try to make comments on the integrity or character of Eggleston and this team, I pounce.

Really felt like he should've did it this last match after the 3rd set.... the girls didnt seem to have too much trouble adjusting to each setter's sets, so don't know why it wasn't ran more often Also feel like Jhenna's defense is too good to ignore as well, y'all think she can pass? (yes we all know she is a setter so she wouldn't have much experience with it, im not asking that) I’d have to go back to her freshman year when she was purely a DS to see how well she passed. If we are honest? It can’t be much worse than the passers we have now. I’d be interested to see, barring a transfer Libero, how she’d do in a DS position playing right back for three rotations and secondary setting. I’m sure her passing would be just fine if not an improvement.

I’ll report back to you in a couple minutes lol Well, they have her down in volleymetrics with all of TWO passing attempts. Could very well not even be her and the coding is wrong, but she passed a 3 and a 1 haha. Also, Autumn Rounsaville! Was always a fan, thought she was super underrated in her time at Texas and seems like I was right. She passed a 2.25 on 342 attempts in 2018 and a 2.32 on 332 attempts in 2017.

Autumn was always so up and down. She'd have such good games (that dig against BYU, anyone?!) and serving runs but then also just make us SMH haha

Fields hit .331 on the season and averaged 3.57 k/s. She is definitely better than third team but I guess its better than nothing. O’Neal was also snubbed

asjia not being hm at least is just stupid
I thought she and Skylar would get third team. it's going to be hard for Skylar to get higher than third team if she doesn't at least serve and play that rotation of back row

2nd team middles: Kayla Caffey: 2.37 kps on .376, 0 sa/s, 1.13 bps Marin Grote: 2.13 kps on .415, 0 sa/s, 1.05 bps Kaitlyn Hord: 2.92 kps on .394, 0 sa/s, 1.40 bps (she honestly might’ve deserved first team)
3rd team middles: Magda Jehlarova: 2.39 kps on .353, .23 sa/s, 1.45 bps (72 digs on the year!!) Lauren Matthews: 4.54 kps on .480, 0 sa/s, 1.27 bps
Asjia O’Neal: 1.81 kps on .383, .33 sa/s, 1.21 bps (60 digs!) If she was at the 2 kps mark she might’ve been 2nd team ahead of Grote, but still no reason not to get honorable mention.
