when are the all-B1G teams normally announced? I’d say tomorrow or Wednesday at latest |

when are the all-B1G teams normally announced? I looked it up. In 2019, it was the Wednesday before the first weekend of NCAAs. So that would be Dec 1st (aka tomorrow). |

Just missed: Gomillion, Davis, Colvin, Hampton, Loberg, Cooney, Kuper, S. Johnson, J. Johnson, Gonzales, Csire, Pertofsky, Brown Notes: 1. There are a lot of great setters & liberos in the Big 10 that choosing 1st vs 2nd teamers is a challenge. 2. Although I have Samedy picked for POY, I think a co-POY with Rettke isn't out of the question. 3. I think DPOY could be Otec or Barnes. Otec has the edge in DPS so I went with her. She might also have the passing edge but someone else will have to confirm that. 4. 1st-teamers that I could *possibly* see moving down are Terry, Caffey, Hames, Mruzik, Franklin, Thomas Ailara, or Orzol. 5. 2nd-teamers I could maybe see moving up are Buzzerio, McGraw, Stivrins & Blossom. Ones I could see dropping out are P. Jones, Robinson & Shaffmaster. 6. The all-freshman team was fairly simple. I think Starck would be the only other one that could make it in. I believe the final awards should be announced tomorrow |

Absolutely insane that Barnes wasn’t first team Maybe you don’t understand the game as well as those who actually get paid to teach and coach it at this level. That’s sad, but also evident. 👀 |

I know they're different votes, but it's a little absurd that Orzol, who isn't on an all BIG team, won FOY over Roddy on the first-team. Makes it a little blatant that the voters either a) have a bias against libbers or b) are pretty blatantly trying to not let anyone win multiple awards.

From the matches I’ve seen this year (granted limited) she did not seem like a first teamer to me.
