For some reason, they have 3 fewer on the first-team and 2 fewer on the 2nd-team than they did in the 2020-2021 season.
IMO -
Robbed players: Kayla Caffey, Raina Terry and Julia Orzol
Too highly praised: Megan Cooney, Lauren Stivrins (sorry, not sorry)
Edit: Ok, I take back what I said about Terry. Didn't realize her hitting % was .155

Stivrins first team? From the matches I’ve seen this year (granted limited) she did not seem like a first teamer to me. i think its pretty consensus it should've been Caffey. #robbed |

Edit: I think DPOY & COY should have been swapped in those schools. IMO, should've been Otec for DPOY and Cook for COY.

It was either her or CC. The freshman was poised all year and just made plays look easier than any Libero I’ve seen in the conference (not saying the latter is part of the criteria.) |

Curious why you think this. From losing 3 matches in a row right before conference, to shuffling around the lineup to see what worked (sitting an all-american) and almost winning the conference title, I think he seemed most deserving. Not taking anything away to Shondell and co beating WI twice, but prior to conference I was thinking Nebraska would be down this year after going 5 with UNO, dropping 3 straight and Stivrins coming back later and then they come back with force and have had an excellent season. |
