It think both fan bases are perpetually stressed out from being great programs for so long and doing everything but win a title. I can't speak for any other Badgers fan. But, I am not at all stressed out. It wasn't all that long ago that going to a volleyball match at the Field House had turned into a painful experience, at least in what was seen on the court. The period from about 2006 to 2013 was pretty rough. Until Sheffield (and Carlini) arrived, Wisconsin was really basically a Sweet 16 type of program. They have grown to become a regular in the Elite 8. I think Sheffield has more Elite 8 appearances in his 8 seasons than the program had combined before that. Maybe if Steve Lowe hadn't died they would have been further along and more consistent. Or if John Cook had stayed.

I got around to linking the official press releases for every team's 2021 recruiting class in OP. Some decent background info in those, including recruit rankings you can get for no money at all.
Two schools don't appear to have a press release: Penn State and Michigan.

I got around to linking the official press releases for every team's 2021 recruiting class in OP. Some decent background info in those, including recruit rankings you can get for no money at all. Speaking of Penn State, forgot to add Macall Peed's transfer to UC Santa Barbara. That's in there now.
Feels like half my updates have been for the Nittany Lions, but that's just how it's gotta be.

So underrated on here. Otec is overrated too. Even if this were so, I am just thinking about departures and who may want to depart. To me, Otec wasn’t even the best Libero candidate on Purdue’s team. They probably do not have room for her to come back next year. PSU could use a B1G defensive player of the year for some depth at the least *says in scoff* (especially when their best shot of a title is running their middles and they will have Rollins and Pritchard). As for Newton, it would not make sense to go to Penn State after their most recent commitments. There are some underclassmen who are good that I can see being unhappy with what their future role or wait time to play.

So underrated on here. Otec is overrated too. Hampton is not underrated on here nor is Otec overrated as neither have been discussed as much as quite a few other B1G liberos. By the way, there are so many ways for you to uplift and highlight great players without having to tear down another player. It's real easy: "Hampton is a great passer and defender. I think what she isn't discussed enough. She's done a great job in her first year as Penn State's libero."
