Is the B1G scheduled to have a normal inter-conference period this upcoming season, and will the Fall matches start on time? Also, will the upcoming season be subject to Covid protocols (i.e., testing, cancellations, masks, etc.)? I do t think anyone knows what protocols they will or won’t have. 4 months is a long time. They probably haven't even come close to figuring that out. They may also wait to see what other conferences will do. I felt like they were very reactionary last year. |

Yo! We just got our first two official, complete, and updated 2021 rosters in the Big Ten. Congratulations to...    Here they are: Indiana and Rutgers. I'll find some annoying and superfluous way to slam these roster links into OP later. Of course, I had to cross-check these official rosters with what I had. Rutgers looks good. Indiana had a few names disappear: Britt Soudan - SO, 5'7 DS/L Klaire Thoman - R-JR, 5'5 DS/L Olivia Panepinto - R-FR, 5'9 S OP updated with those. Amid the Indiana departures, though, lone ranger senior Brooke Westbeld is back, so the Hoosiers keep their starting setter. Again, thanks to these schools for serving the needs of the community. Everyone else in this conference can kick rocks. Uh, sorry to ruin your day Kingsley, but per the transfer thread: 2 Indiana starters in the portal... Stockham Blackwell Oof |

it’s a legitimate question. But thanks for your insight. I didn't think you had any actual knowledge that they turned them down. But yes, it was legitimate for me to challenge it. When people inquire about diversity in a given space that lacks diversity... i dont see the need in challenging the inquiry. Choosing to make your spaces more diverse is a conscious choice. If black players are turning down your program, I would consider ways to fix this. 1. Is my staff reflective of the players I want to recruit 2. Am I recruiting in areas where I can find diverse players 3. Am I finding ways to connect with them |

The implication clearly was that the IU program was purposefully avoiding recruiting players of color, and I asked if there was any evidence of that. The poster could not provide any.

In other news, still no new fall rosters among schools not named Rutgers and Indiana. For those who want to keeping checking on these team rosters and beat me to the punch, those pretty team logos at the top of OP are not just there for show! |
