the pins will love her, the middles shouldn't even bother transitioning if they are on her side lol I would love to watch more film of Melani back in her club days to see if there was a problem setting middles back then. I know her AAU game vs Kennedi Orr is on YouTube but they were both so young and have developed so much since then. Weird Shaffmaster has such an issue setting middles in transition cuz Munciana trains setters to run the crap out of their middles in transition lol

This looks like good news for the Terps. Would LOVE to see them regain contender status!

Getting to the tournament. I'm pretty sure they missed it by a whisker a few years ago.(Hughes second year as HC)
I could be wrong but I thought they were close.

Hughes's first year in 2018 was the last time they had any shot. Finished 56 in RPI. I remember them coming into the Devaney Center on the final night of the regular season basically needing a win to have a chance. They completely laid an egg that night.

That's a tall order for a fledgling team. I'm hoping to see them continue to grow and move in the right direction.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Purdue vb ranks near the top in revenue Purdue volleyball money isn't enough for NICE locker rooms. This is how it was explained to me on a recruiting trip (if anyone has better info please interject)... When teams go to bowl games the money earned from that goes back to the CONFERENCE and is then dispersed among the schools of that conference. The more teams in bowl games the more money that conference gets. I know of at least two schools where the women's locker rooms were revamped to the tune of around $800,000.

While true, it's more about splitting media rights money among the schools.
