Also known as "we used to win a lot more matches when we played at Carver, maybe we should try that again..." So for years, Iowa complained about having to play VB matches in such a big arena like Carver-Hawkeye, so the funds were raised for the 5000 seat Xtreme Arena. . . And now during the first year that fans can attend matches in this new Xtreme Arena. . . they are moving matches back to Carver-Hawkeye? Everything about Iowa volleyball should be better. . . And it just isn’t. . . Sad |

I don’t know, but my guess is issues with a volleyball court on a sheet of ice leaving condensation or other related problems.

Purdue takes set 1 against Rutgers (25-6)
Coach Shondell subbed Ali Hornung in the back row for Newton toward the end of the set, then let A. Hornung play the front row. She had two block assists to close the set.
When was the last time Purdue played a sub 6' OH? 🤨

There really isn't a road match in the B1G where as a visiting team you can count on an automatic win. I don't remember it being so good at the bottom. The top also appears to me to be not as strong as a typical year. Some of the top teams have the talent but haven't quite put it all together yet.
